Sugar Stamp - It's a Boy
These sugar stamps are a great way to decorate meringues. Add a decorative finish to home made meringues with sugar stamps transfer foils. The sugar stamps are printed with a lovely design, especially designed for creating chic and contemporary meringues decorations.
Each pack contains one sugar sheet to create approximately 50 meringues. Simply pipe your meringues onto the sugar stamp foil and bake. The cute designs are copied after baking onto your meringues.
We suggest you use sugar stamps favorite meringue recipe, which is good for one sugar sheet foil:
- 2 (62 grams) Egg white
- 125g sugar
- 50g powder sugar
Mix egg whites with sugar in a small bowl. Place the pot with the mixture on a bain-marine for about 10 minutes, mix once in a while until the mixture becomes liquid and you can no longer feel sugar grains in it.
Mix the mixture on high speed until frothy about 8 minutes. Add the powdered sugar and mix on high speed until the meringues holds a peak.
You may add a flavour or food colouring to the meringue mixture if you desire. Fill the meringue mix in a piping bag using your desired nozzle.
Place the Sugar Stamps on a baking tray (shiny side down) and pipe the meringue over the designs. Bake at 80°C for at least 2 hours or until meringues are dry and sound hollow when tapped.
Immediately remove the meringues from the Sugar Stamps and allow to cool completely.
